See exactly how your resume matches a job, line by line
Most “ATS score” checkers hand you a number like 78% and stop there. You can’t see where it came from, so you can’t fix anything. This one shows its work.
What changes
A typical score checker
“78% match.” No reasons, no way to check it, and you’re left guessing what to change.
Grounded Resume Checker
For every requirement in the posting: met, partly met, or missing. Each verdict points to the exact line in your resume it’s based on. If it can’t find a line, it says missing.
How it works
- Open a job posting, click the extension, and press Grab text from this page.
- Paste your resume or a list of real accomplishments, or upload a PDF or .txt file.
- Press Check against my background. Read each verdict and the line that backs it up.
Setup, honestly
The extension runs on your own AI key (Anthropic or OpenRouter), so your resume goes straight from your browser to the provider you choose, not through my servers. The extension is free. Your provider charges you a few cents per check. My own test runs cost a few cents each.
No key? Chrome’s built-in AI works too, with lower accuracy. If setup is confusing, tell me where: contact@techtrendwire.com.
Who made it
I’m Jason. I work in a law firm mailroom and build software at night. Most score checkers give you a number and no reasons, so I built one that shows its work.

The full toolkit (optional)
A reusable bullet bank, an application tracker, a guide to the method, and the gap-analysis tool. $6 to $39 each, or all four for $45.
Simple templates on Etsy
If you’d rather start with something lighter than the full toolkit, I sell four job-search templates on Etsy: a Resume Bullet Bank, a Job Application Tracker, a Resume Tailoring Guide and a one-page Tailoring Worksheet. There’s also a Starter Bundle with all four ($15). They’re separate from the $45 toolkit above.
SALE: 30% off through October 20, 2026, applied automatically at checkout.
